Singapore’s The Wild Ventures launches with an oversubscribed funding round

The Wild Ventures, a Singapore-based artificial intelligence (AI)-powered house of impact brands, has announced its official launch on Thursday following an oversubscribed funding round.
The firm said in a statement that the firm has closed a SGD 1 million ($750,000) angel round with participation from a long list of experienced operators, investors and family offices.
The investor list includes angel investors such as Alex Bouaziz, Founder and Chief Exective Officer of the Silicon Valley based multi-billion dollar YC scale-up Deel.com; Stefan Lindeberg, Founder of VC firm Creandum; En Ming Ong, Founder of Rocket Eyewear, Zenos Schmickrath, Co-founder of Hmlet; the Founders of Series B pet insurtech Lassie; Thomas Ekman, ex Chief Executive Officer of Axel Johnson publ, Dustin and Tele2; Indra Sharma, Partner at Peak Capital; Janina Aarts, ex Chief Financial Officer of H&M Beauty; Parham Benisi, Partner at Pophouse; and Philippe Klintefelt Collet, ex Partner at Global Founders Capital, Chief Strategy & Financial Officer at AI scale-up Aibidia.
The Wild Ventures launches, owns and operates innovative business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) brands, and selectively invests in external brands that fit its overall mission.
Founded by a team of accomplished brand builders, and funded by a roster of world-class founders and investors from the United States, Europe and Asia, the company aims to quickly scale up and build a next-gen house of brands.
It is noted that more than 15 of the world’s 50 biggest public companies by market capitalization are multi-brand corporations, including household names like Procter & Gamble, LVMH and The Coca-Cola Corporation.
The Wild Ventures aims to build on the success of the model and its vast opportunities to create synergies and network effects, but to do so in a sustainable way.
“This is such an exciting moment—not just because of the incredible investors backing us, but because we’re bringing a fresh vision to life,
“We saw an opportunity to shake up old industries and create brands that truly connect with people. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait for what’s next,” said Bjorn Bergstrom, Co-founder of The Wild Ventures.
Leveraging the team’s experience and combining it with AI, The Wild Ventures builds world-class brands in an innovative and resource effective way.
From kicking off in the fall of 2024, the company already has four brands in its portfolio, including three in-house created brands that it owns 100 percent of – Wild Palace, Poositive Pets and Future Paper.
Wild Palace is a Scandinavian direct-to-consumer wallpaper brand committed to sustainable innovation and design excellence.
With a century-old Swedish wallpaper factory as its production partner, Wild Palace combines heritage craftsmanship, FSC-approved materials, and cutting-edge digital printing to bring eco-friendly, made-to-measure wallpaper to a global audience.
With its in-house design agency, Wild Palace re-imagines wallpaper for today’s homes and executes world-class creative designs. The brand is officially launching in the US.
Poositive makes poop bags planet positive. With nearly half a billion dogs kept as pets globally, over 80 million in the US alone, an estimated 415 billion poop bags are used globally every year.
For every box of eco-friendly, certified home compostable, cornstarch bags sold, Poositive funds the removal of an additional pound of plastic from nature—the equivalent of 25 plastic bottles. Allowing buyers to ‘poop away plastic’ with every purchase.
Future Paper reduces deforestation by selling bamboo paper and planting new trees with every sale, enabling companies to fight climate change just by switching paper.
Impact data is turned into powerful visualizations that brands can share and link to products through QR codes.
“We’re so excited to finally launch — not just our house of brands, but each individual brand we’ve been working so hard on. Coming from a creative background, we love shaking things up in industries that feel stale,
“Our goal is simple: to make people feel something, whether it’s through fun, creative content or products that genuinely bring joy,” said Arvid Lithander, Co-founder of The Wild Ventures.
