Investigate VC, a Singapore-based early-stage venture capital firm focused on high-growth startups with defensible network effects, has announced the launch of its new fund series – Fund 2 (I-III).

The platform targets over $500 million in assets under management across three vintages (2025, 2027, and 2029), scaling a proven investment strategy with global reach and institutional-grade structure, the firm said in a statement on Monday.

The new series builds on the success of Investigates origin fund (Fund 1) — which achieved a 28 percent net internal rate of return (IRR) and a 5 times of multiple on invested capital (MOIC) — and leverages a powerful combination of human expertise, artificial intelligence (AI)-driven selection tools, and proprietary deal sourcing.

The first new fund, Investigate Fund 2 (I), targets a $150 million close to back early-stage companies across Asia, Europe, and North America.

The fund is targeting companies where usage, data, and user interaction drive compounding growth — the dynamic behind 70 percent+ of today’s most valuable tech companies.

Meanwhile, over 1,000 curated early-stage startups will be evaluated annually via proprietary sourcing, refined into 300+ pre-qualified Seed to Series B opportunities per fund.

A proprietary decision and scaling engine is also designed to uncover inflection points earlier and accelerate portfolio company performance beyond traditional VC methods.

The fund also offers dual-fund liquidity structure, with innovative design provides investors with optional liquidity after five years, without compromising long-term upside.

There is also a globally experienced team with boots-on-the-ground presence in Asia, Europe, and North America, and a deep focus on industries essential to a resilient society under the fund.

“Network effects aren’t a feature — they’re the engine. They define the companies that reshape industries,

“Investigate VC is built to find these founders early and help them scale into global leaders,” said Mikael Krogh, Founder and Partner, Investigate VC.

Meanwhile, Michael Pomerleau, Co-Founder and Partner, Investigate VC, said that the firm needs smarter venture capital structures rooted in first principles.

“Investigate VC bridges the long-standing gap between early-stage innovation and institutional capital — giving investors a meaningful way to access scalable, resilient, high-performing startups,” he added.
