Malaysian clean energy solutions provider Solarvest Holdings Berhad has partnered with Singapore-based renewable energy (RE) company Vista Contracting and Investment Global Pte Ltd, to jointly develop certain rooftop and utility scale solar projects in Malaysia, Brunei, Taiwan and Cambodia.

Solarvest said in a bourse filing on Thursday that the duo have entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the partnership.

The parties desire to combine their respective expertise and experience, to ensure their commercial and strategic advantages.

“Upon the successful implementation and fulfilment of the proposed collaboration pursuant to the terms as set out in the MOU, it is expected that the collaboration will contribute positively to the future financial performance of Solarvest,” said the bourse filing.

The principal activity of Vista is the investment and development of renewable energy projects, with a specific focus on rooftop and utility scale solar power systems.

The firm specializes in the promotion, implementation and management of solar energy solutions, contributing to the global transition towards sustainable and clean energy sources.
