11 startups backed by Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit advance innovation across MENA

Sanabil Accelerator by Orbit highlighted 11 startups from Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Pakistan, and Hong Kong that are building solutions tackling key challenges in education, mobility, enterprise software, logistics, e-commerce, proptech, and fintech across the region.

These startups each received $100,000 in initial funding as part of the accelerator, along with access to follow-on investment, mentorship, and Orbit’s global network to scale their businesses in MENA and beyond. Over the program, the startups focused on refining product strategies, growing sales, and connecting with corporates, investors, and government partners, according to a statement.

Startups Driving Regional Innovation:

● Arabius (KSA): Helping busy professionals learn Saudi Arabic and culture through immersive, technology-driven lessons.

● Bus14 (Egypt): A tech-enabled school transportation company, founded in Egypt and now operating in Saudi Arabia, delivering safe, reliable, and trackable rides for students.

● HNDL (Egypt): Transforming fleet management across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. HNDL cuts costs, boosts performance and tracks emissions in one powerful SaaS platform.

● Kuration AI (Hong Kong): An AI agent for B2B sales professionals that automates the entire lead research process from start to finish.

● Lockers (KSA): A digital platform helping Saudis move furniture hassle-free with transparent pricing and insured service.

● MottoVest (Pakistan): Patented airbag vest for emerging market delivery riders, saving lives and reducing costs for fleet owners.

● Ojrah (KSA): An all-in-one platform that streamlines taxi fleet operations, enhances efficiency, and ensures Transport General Authority regulations compliance.

● Qarrib (UAE): Connecting households to local corner stores through a seamless, tech-powered mobile platform

● QuicKart (UAE): UAE’s first direct-to-consumer farm produce platform – farm-fresh products delivered within 6–8 hours via app and web

● SkyStruct (Qatar): An all-in-one system helping construction firms in the GCC simplify project management and reduce costs.

● Welend (Egypt): All-in-one digital platform for SMEs financing needs in Egypt.

Orbit Startups helps scale breakthrough companies across emerging and frontier markets in Southeast and South Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas. Orbit invests through its fund SOSV, a US-based venture capital firm with $1.5 billion in assets under management.

Notable investments include VideoVerse, technology partner to the Olympics and the UK’s Premier League; fintech pioneer BitMEX; ELSA Speak, Google Gradient’s first investment in Asia; and Dastgyr, Pakistan’s aspiring Alibaba Group, information from its website showed.
