Mober, a green logistics services provider based in the Philippines, has unveiled the country’s first 100 percent electric tractor head truck, marking a significant expansion of its electric vehicle (EV) fleet.

This groundbreaking acquisition reinforces Mober’s commitment to driving sustainability within the Philippine logistics industry, the firm said in a statement on Friday.

The new electric tractor head truck boasts an 18-ton payload capacity and a range of up to 220 kilometers on a single charge of its 282.6-kilowatt battery.

It can be fully charged in two hours at a 120-kilowatt Fast DC Charging station.

Designed for large-scale logistics operations, the truck enhances efficiency and reduces environmental impact, offering instant torque, quiet operation, and regenerative braking for smoother, more sustainable performance.

Ideal for predictable daily routes, this EV tractor head helps logistics companies meet sustainability targets without compromise.

This addition addresses the increasing demand for greener mid- and last-mile delivery solutions from companies across various sectors, including retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), and more.

“We’re thrilled to introduce the Philippines’ first 100% electric tractor head truck. This achievement underscores Mober’s unwavering dedication to transforming the logistics landscape with sustainable transport solutions,” said Mober Founder and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Ng.

“This addition boosts our goal of expanding our EV fleet to 500 units by the end of the year,

“We’re proud of this milestone and excited to provide our partners and the Filipino people with even greener and more efficient delivery services,” he added.

According to the statement, this significant EV acquisition solidifies Mober’s leadership in promoting sustainability through innovative commercial EV logistics solutions.

By operating a fully electric fleet, Mober eliminates tailpipe emissions, improves air quality, and champions the transition to a more sustainable transportation ecosystem.

Beyond fleet expansion, Mober is pioneering innovation in the commercial EV sector with its advanced technology solutions.

Its proprietary Battery Management System (BMS) provides real-time battery health and performance monitoring, enabling predictive maintenance and extending fleet lifespan.

Meanwhile, Mober’s Transport Management System (TMS) optimizes delivery routes, minimizing energy consumption and emissions while maximizing operational efficiency.

With its expanding fleet and cutting-edge technology, Mober said the firm is on track to become a leader in green logistics in Southeast Asia, starting in the Philippines and paving the way for a more sustainable future in the industry.
