Hong Kong-born construction tech company Varadise Limited has secured $3 million in a Series A funding round led by Betatron Venture Group.

Betatron said in a statement on Friday that the Innovation and Technology Venture Fund, under the Innovation and Technology Commission of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, is the other investor.

According to the statement, Varadise will leverage Betatron’s extensive global network and deep industry expertise to accelerate its international expansion including into Southeast Asia, China, and the Middle East.

The collaboration aims to establish Varadise as a global leader in built environment technology and innovative urbanism, bringing locally-developed solutions to the international stage.

“This investment marks a pivotal moment in our journey,

“With Betatron’s support, we’re ready to bring our comprehensive solutions to cities across the globe,” said Terence Lui, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Varadise.

“Today, Varadise has grown to a team of over 90 young professionals averaging 30 years of age. We have proven that determination and innovation from young talent can transcend traditional industry boundaries,” he added.

Founded in 2019, Varadise is a Hong Kong-grown firm in digital engineering, leading the charge towards smart city innovation in the built environment.
